The sneaker world has been patiently waiting for the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle “Sesame” to drop. Since first being previewed last summer at the sacai SS21 presentation, sneakerheads have been itching to get hold of a pair. As we have seen over the past few months, however, it’s been delay after delay. From pushed back dates to outright cancelled releases, it’s been a tough time. Thankfully, there is some good news after all. After several months of waiting, it looks like the next round of sacai x Nike Vaporwaffles is dropping next week.
As one of four colourways set to drop, the “Sesame” is certainly one of the stronger colourways. The hybrid silhouette which uses elements from the Nike Vaporfly and Pegasus is well-known in the sneaker community. A combination of Tan, Brown, White and Navy adorn the upper, covering the nylon, suede and leather overlays. Familiar details like the double-stacked tongues, laces and Swooshes come as standard, giving the sneaker a distinctive look. Bringing it all together is a thick midsole unit with White, Navy and Sail accents.
If you like the look of the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle “Sesame” then there’s good news. According to sources, the sneaker is set to drop on April 27th for €180.
