Originally launched back in 2006, the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” quickly made its way into the sneaker hall of fame. As one of the best non-OG colourways of the AJ4 to ever release, the “Lightning” has been a grail for many in the sneaker community. Worn by the likes of Kevin Hart and Drake, the influence of the AJ4 “Lightning” is well-documented. Well, sneakerheads, there’s finally some good news: the Jordan 4 “Lightning” is finally coming back.
Released over 15 years ago via an exclusive online release, the Lightning 4s are widely considered one of the greatest AJ4s of all time. For 2021, Jordan Brand is bringing the sneaker back in its true OG form. Constructed in a premium yellow nubuck, the vibrancy of this Jordan 4 is second to none. Grey and black accents on the ankle support, lace eyelets and mesh add a nice contrast, with a distinctive black tongue tag. A bright yellow nubuck heel tab features a grey Jumpman before moving into the white and grey midsole.
