Whilst the dust has barely settled from the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5 release, it looks as though an Off-White™ x Air Jordan 4 could be on the way. Having first debuted at Virgil Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibit in Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art, the AJ4 was thought to be just a sample. Well, it looks as though all of that is about to change.
Last night at the Off-White™ women’s Paris Fashion Week show, the shoes lit up the runway. Taking a fresh approach to the Air Jordan 4, this “Sail” colourway utilises a slick leather upper. Unlike the Air Jordan 5, this shoe has no elements removed or deconstructed. A semi-translucent tech strap and heel tab make for unique details, whilst Off-White™’s signature text can be seen above the Air Unit.
This text has also made it to the shoelaces, as well as on the medial side of the sneaker. The classic Off-White™ zip tie also comes in sail, making for a sleek sneaker that is sure to light up the fashion world should it drop. Considering this was seen at the Off-White™ women PFW show, this is expected to be a women’s exclusive although no details have yet been confirmed.
