Japanese toy manufacturer Medicom Toy has created some of the most sought after collectables in the past 25 years. Since its inception in 1996, the brand has made thousands of coveted collectables, however one, in particular, has gained a cult-like status: the BE@RBRICK. Originally made in 2001, the BE@RBRICK has been reimagined by designers all over the world. Now, Medicom Toy is teaming up with luxury pewter craft company Royal Selangor.
After the 2019 collaboration, BE@RBRICK fans wanted to see more Royal Selangor iterations. Thankfully, Medicom Toy is giving the people what they want. An intricately designed BE@RBRICK figurine uses a 19th-century pattern throughout. Dubbed the Arabesque Magic, the piece features a colourful peacock style hue which changes in the light. The linework on the collectable is mesmerising and features an ornate design with intricate detailing.
