The University of North Carolina has a special part in the history of Michael Jordan. Have attended university there and becoming a legend for the UNC Tar Heels, Jordan was quick to recognise the importance of his former school when he signed with Nike. Fans have often been treated to UNC Air Jordans, from the Jordan 1 to Jordan 14. Well, it looks like there’s no signs of slowing down just yet. There may be another UNC Air Jordan 1 on the way for 2021.
Whilst there is no confirmation from Nike just yet, early reports suggest that a new UNC AJ1 will be releasing next year. It is not yet clear when the sneaker will release, however famed leak source zSneakerHeadz suggests it will be early 2021. Of course, with this being a rumour, there is no guarantee on whether or not this will release. Until then, we’ll just have to wait. According to the aforementioned source, the shoe will reference the UNC blue and white. However, additional black pops will be included.
