Star Wars and adidas have certainly stepped things up a gear in 2020. Whilst the two may have begun collaborating in 2010, it hasn’t been until the latest films that things have really hit their stride. Over the past few weeks, we’ve reported on everything from Boba Fett to Darth Vader inspired sneakers. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like adidas is done with its Star Wars sneakers just yet. We now have our first look at a ZX 2K BOOST that references Han Solo.
Building on the already successful aforementioned pairs, the upcoming ZX 2K BOOST is inspired by Han Solo’s Blaster Belt. The clever collaboration features a Core Black fabric as its base, with TPU overlays creating structural support. Elsewhere, Sand leather overlays connects with more TPU at the heel to build on this already slick-looking sneaker. However, it is the straps across the midsection that has really got Star Wars fans excited.
Looking almost exactly like Solo’s belt, the straps come together to create a holster like effect. A metal clip joins all of the sections together, hiding the Han Solo tongue tag underneath. Just like the previous adidas x Star Wars collabs, custom lace dubraes bear the film franchises name. A black BOOST midsole is accompanied with a sand outsole, rounding this Star Wars sneaker off nicely.
If you like the look of this Star Wars x adidas ZX 2K BOOST “Han Solo,” then there’s good news. The shoe is rumoured to drop later this month at select retailers. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Star Wars sneakers.
