The world of fashion is no stranger to unlikely collaborations, but adidas x Gucci x Real Madrid may be one of the wildest we’ve heard. After high profile collaborations with Prada, it seems as though adidas is continuing to work with high-end brands. With Real Madrid being one of the biggest clubs in the world, and being an adidas sponsored club, the news of a Gucci collaboration is certainly exciting.
Whilst not much is known about the partnership, sources have revealed the rumours are, in fact, true. According to some, adidas and Gucci will create a special range that mixes elements of sport and haute couture for the 2022/2023 season. Considering both respective brands legacy, this is a huge collaboration in world football. Design leaks have also disclosed that Gucci’s signature “GG” monogram will be reimagined with Real Madrid’s club crest. There are also reports that adidas x Gucci kits will be made for an on-pitch game, but that’s to be confirmed.
