There is no denying that the adidas ZX 8000 is one of the most important in the brand’s history. Last year we saw a lot of collaborations on the adidas ZX, dropping as part of its revived A-ZX line. From atmos to LEGO and almost everything in between, there was a fair few pairs to cop. Thankfully, it doesn’t look as though things are going to stop any time soon. In fact, we now have a closer look at the upcoming adidas ZX 8000 “Frozen Lemonade”.
The updated summer take on the classic “Citrus” colourway has certainly got us excited for the warmer months. A pastel yellow upper is accented with soft shades of lemon and green to give this shoe its well-deserved moniker. Working throughout the upper, the lemon and green accents cover the plastic lace cage, stripes and tongue. The hidden details on this adidas ZX, however, are what have really got us excited.
Custom insoles feature a recipe for how to make frozen lemonade as well as ice cube graphics across a second set. Behind the tongue, the “ZX 8000” has the zeros replace with three lemons; a clever change that we’re all for. With this most likely to be a limited release, we’re optimistic that these will also arrive in a custom box.
If you like the look of the adidas ZX 8000 “Frozen Lemonade” then there’s good news. For now, a January 29th release date as well as a €120 price tag has been set. Thankfully, that means there’s not long for you to wait in order to cop these. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’ll cop these adidas ZX 8000s.
