There is no denying the importance that Pharrell Williams has in street culture. Over the past 20 years, the singer, producer and all-round fashion icon has become a status symbol for many involved in streetwear. Whether it’s collaborations with BAPE or Chanel, Pharrell really is a key figure in popular culture. Now, the Happy singer is partnering with adidas once more. This time, however, we are seeing the introduction of a brand new model.
Dubbed the Presha Hu, the upcoming sneaker is much simpler than previous Pharrell x adidas collaborations. The subtle silhouette opts for minimal branding, this time focusing on a less is more approach. A canvas upper is contrasted by a gum sole, complete with suede accents on the heel, laces and eyelets. It is, however, a well-needed step in the right direction for Pharrell’s adidas collaborations. It is also much cheaper than previous collabs.
Retailing at a mere €100, the Pharrell Williams x adidas Presha Hu costs far less than previous Pharrell sneakers. Dropping in three colours, yellow, black and olive, the upcoming sneaker offers something for everyone. If you’re looking for a simple shoe for the summer, then look no further.
