For almost a year the sneaker world has seen various leaks of the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas ZX 8000 “SUPEREARTH”. The second collaboration between Sean Wotherspoon and adidas has certainly divided the sneaker community. However, what can be said about this Sean Wotherspoon adidas sneaker is that it is good for the planet. Thankfully, after a year of waiting, the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas ZX collab finally drops this week.
Sean Wotherspoon’s push to create sustainable adidas sneakers can be seen throughout this ZX 8000. Constructed entirely from recycled materials, the shoe features an almost patchwork like upper. A number of different fabrics and designs have been used to give the sneaker a truly distinctive look. From tartan check prints to bright red suede panels, these will definitely get you noticed. An embroidered and frayed floral design appears on the Three Stripes, with “SUPEREARTH” and “SW” branding on the toe and heel. Sitting atop a Torsion midsole unit, these Sean Wotherspoon adidas shoes are certainly bold.
If you do like the look of the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas ZX 8000 “SUPEREARTH” then there’s good news. The pair will drop on April 16th for €150 at select retailers.
