After being revealed, The Simpsons x adidas ZX 10000 “Krusty Burger” has been a must cop for serious fans of the Springfield family. Whilst The Simpsons inspired sneakers are, of course, not new, they have always gone a little overboard. For 2021, it seems as though there’s been a new creative approach for this sneaker collaboration. Inspired by Krusty the Clown’s Krusty Burger fast-food chain, this latest adidas ZX 10000 has us hungry for more.
The latest instalment in the adidas A-ZX series, this pair represents the letter K. Taking direct reference from the Krusty Burger, this adidas ZX 10000 is certainly colourful. Brown overlays replicate the sesame seed buns made famous in the show, whilst cream and pink tones reference the iconic television clown. A red toe box takes cues from Krusty’s nose, whilst the green three stripes and matching chenille heel are a nod to the clown’s hair. Arguably the best detail on these, however, is the remixed trefoil logo on the tongue redesigned to look like Krusty’s face.
If you like the look of The Simpson x adidas ZX 10000 “Krusty Burger” then there’s good news. The pair is set to release on February 27th for just €130.
