It’s been a very busy start to the year for BAPE. Almost every week since the start of the year, the brand has announced a collaboration. The Weeknd, Pusha T, J Balvin and Reebok have all had worked with the iconic Japanese streetwear label. It seems as though BAPE is continuing this collaborative spirit once more, teasing an upcoming collaboration with famous New York luxury bag maker Coach.
Whilst details on the partnership are fairly slim we can expect some iconic Coach bags but with a BAPE twist. Both brands have taken to Instagram to share news about the creative venture, with BAPE keeping things simple with a “COMING SOON. #BAOExCOACH” caption with a video of both brand logos. Coach has been more playful, placing BAPE’s classic BABY MILO character in various locations around the world such as London, Tokyo and New York.
Standard Coach bags retail anywhere from €75-1500 depending on the style. With this being a collab, you can expect a midway price point between the two.
