Next year marks the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan line, and if recent announcements are any indication, it looks like they’re celebrating in a big way. Over the course of 2025, we’re gonna be in for some much-anticipated Retros of OGs, fan-favourite colourways, and some legendary collabs.
Air Jordan 1 High ‘85
The refined OG shape of the AJ1 ‘85 is back in a big way, with the OG ‘Bred’ colourway making a comeback for the first time since 2016. There’s also a new ‘Reverse Shadow’ colourway in the pipeline.
Air Jordan 1 High ‘UNC Reimagined’
The UNC colourway is also returning for the first time in 10 years, done the same pre-aged ‘Reimagined’ finish seen on the smash hit ‘Lost & Found’.
Air Jordan 1 High ‘Shattered Backboard’
For many, the premium leather ‘Shattered Backboard’ set a standard for Jordan releases back in 2015. Hopefully, the 2025 version will recapture the original magic.
Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High ‘Chicago’
Union LA is also potentially capturing some nostalgia with a new Chicago/Shadow colourway. If it’s anything like the mockups we’ve seen this is sure to be a hit.
Air Jordan 4 OG ‘White Cement’
The ‘White Cement’ is sure to be one of the hottest OGs of 2025. No ‘Reimagined’ twists, just a one-to-one of the beloved original from ‘89.
Nike SB x AJ4
The smash-hit Nike SB x AJ4 collab is also set to return in two new colourways, ‘Sapphire’ and ‘Varsity Red’.
Air Jordan 4 ‘Black Cat’
The ‘Black Cat’ 4 is one of the most sought-after Jordans of all time. The last release in 2020 wasn’t that long ago, but the demand is still high.
UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4
The UNDEFEATED 4 isn’t just another all-time great, it is THE first Jordan collaboration with another brand. Originally limited to a 72-pair release in 2005, hopefully, we’ll all have a better chance of copping in 2025.
Air Jordan 5
The Air Jordan 5 is finally getting its first Reimagined treatment with the upcoming Black Metallic colourway featuring new reflective piping and Nike Air branding. The classic ‘Grape’ colourway is also making a comeback.
Air Jordan 8
Following last year’s release of the ‘Playoff’ colourway, both the ‘Aqua’ and the ‘Bugs Bunny’ are set to complete the OG AJ8 trio in 2025.
Air Jordan 10
MJ’s comeback model is getting some much-needed love. The OG grey suede ‘Shadow’ colourway is back, as well as the ‘Steel’ colourway with its unique toe cap.
Air Jordan 11 Low ‘Bred’
11 Lows have been having a moment recently, so what better way to cement that than with the classic black and red colourway?
Air Jordan 12 ‘Flu Game’
The legendary Flu Game 12s also return next year. Aside from a similar A Ma Maniére collab, we haven’t seen this piece of history since 2016.
Remember, these are all still months away, so don’t get too excited just yet. Stay tuned to KLEKTIVE for more news on upcoming releases.
