Fresh off the success of the Hyperboot, Nike and Hyperice have unveiled their latest wearable recovery product: the Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide. Combining Nike's renowned Air Zoom cushioning with Hyperice's industry-leading recovery technology, the futuristic slide is designed to help athletes recover faster without ever leaving their feet.
At first glance, the Air Zoom Hyperslide looks like a premium recovery slide, but hidden beneath its sleek exterior is a surprising amount of technology. The standout feature is the removable magnetic Hyperslide Pod, housed inside the adjustable midfoot strap. Developed by Hyperice, the pod delivers targeted heat and vibration across the top of the foot, helping to reduce tension and encourage relaxation after training, competition, or even a long day on your feet. Users can choose from three levels of heat – reaching up to 47°C – and three vibration settings, with each recovery session running for 15 minutes. Everything can be controlled directly from the pod or through the Hyperice app.
Underfoot, Nike has equipped the slide with low-profile Air Zoom cushioning, providing plush comfort alongside the active recovery technology. It's a clever combination of passive cushioning and targeted treatment, creating a product that feels just as suited to elite athletes as it does to anyone looking for extra comfort during everyday recovery.
The Air Zoom Hyperslide also builds on the foundation laid by last year's Hyperboot. While the Hyperboot focused on warming up muscles through dynamic air compression and heat before activity, the Hyperslide is engineered for the moments afterwards. Together, the two products represent Nike and Hyperice's growing vision of recovery becoming an essential part of athletic performance rather than an afterthought.
Visually, the slide embraces a minimalist, futuristic aesthetic. Monochrome white and black colour schemes keep things soft and understated, while the sculpted Air Zoom sole and oversized strap give it a distinctly modern silhouette. The removable recovery pod integrates seamlessly into the design, ensuring the technology doesn't compromise everyday wearability.
