We’re back with another instalment of 5Qs and 5As: the interview series where we sit down with some of Europe’s biggest sneakerheads to discuss all things footwear related. Today, we’re sitting down with @terrible__kid, a Team KLEKT member who’s been collecting since he can remember. Over the past few years, his collection has rapidly grown and he’s been a part of the team for a while now.
Today, we’ll be delving deeper into his collection, with an understanding of where it all started. Born and raised in Portugal, @terrible__kid only dreamed of having the finest sneakers and streetwear from an early age. Today, we’re going to be finding out a little bit more about the man behind the page. You’ll get a look at some of his favourite releases this year as well as his all-time top five. Hey, it’s great to have you here! Can you please introduce yourself?
Hi guys and thanks for having me. My name is @terrible__kid and you may have seen me on Instagram. Behind this account is a kid who dreamed about having a nice life full of sneakers and streetwear. Now, I work really hard to have those things!
How did your passion for sneakers start?
My passion for sneakers started in my childhood with the Nike Air Max, that’s why I have more Air Max than any other shoe! My favourite pair is the Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 1/97 VF.
What are your top three releases of 2021?
In my opinion, the top three releases in 2021 are the:
- Air Jordan 1 High OG “Dark Mocha”
- Air Jordan 4 Retro “University Blue”
- Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki”
What is the most you have spent on a sneaker?
That’s a good question haha! It was the Off-White™ x Nike Air Max 97 “The Ten” and I paid €600 for it.
