Over the past few years, Jordan Brand has really stepped up its women’s exclusives. From the Air Jordan 1 “Satin Black Toe” to the Air Jordan 4 “Rasta,” Jordan Brand has ensured that the ladies get their own exclusives. Just last month, we saw the introduction of the Air Jordan 3 WMNS “Laser Orange” which was an instant sellout. Following on from the simple colourway, rumours are circulating that an Air Jordan 3 “Violet Ore” could be on the way next year.
Whilst this is still just a rumour, multiple sources suggest that a “Violet Ore” AJ3 will drop in 2021. Boasting a similar construction to the “Laser Orange,” the sneaker is subtle in its approach. A traditional white tumbled leather base features elephant print on the mudguard and heel. The classic white midsole and grey outsole would also have you think that this was, in fact, an OG Air Jordan 3. However, purple accents on the rear of the midsole, lace eyelets, heel tab and tongue make sure this is anything but.
Another detail that separates the “Violet Ore” from the “Laser Orange” is its price point. According to various outlets, the AJ3 “Violet Ore” will cost €210, a slight jump from the €190 price point of the “Laser Orange.” This could be due to materials, or maybe Jordan Brand is increasing its prices again, who knows. As for now, there’s no official images or release date. However, an earmarked date of Early 2021 has been set. Check out the mockup below and let us know if you’ll cop the Air Jordan 3 “Violet Ore.”
