Keeping a 35-year-old silhouette fresh can be challenging. However, when it comes to the Air Jordan 1, that’s never really been an issue. The sneaker has been an integral part of footwear culture for almost four decades. Collaborations, countless colourways and mixing things up is what has set the Jordan 1 apart from the rest. One of those remixes came in 2016 in the form of the “Top Three” Air Jordan 1. Now, it looks like we could be seeing a “Top Three” 2.0 later this year.
Though rumours are still swirling, multiple sources are beginning to release information that another Top Three AJ1 is on the way. In keeping with the same colour basis, the sneaker will feature the “Chicago”, “Bred” and “Royal” colourways of the Air Jordan 1. This time, however, the shoe will not use alternate colour blocking across each sneaker. Instead, it’s been rumoured that the sneaker will use a “Royal” and “Varsity Red” colour scheme.
Whilst there are no official images or confirmation just yet, we could see something similar to the House of Heat mockup below. As this is a rumour, we’ll just have to wait and see if this sneaker comes out. Check out the image and let us know if you’ll cop these Air Jordan 1s.
