It looks as though an Air Jordan 1 Mid “Royal” is in the works for this season. The sneaker world has been shocked by the insane level of popularity that the AJ1 Mid has had over the past two years. As Jordan Brand looks to ensure the Mid becomes a big part of the culture, we’ve been treated to a number of slick colourways and limited releases. Now, it looks to be going back to the vault in order to remix some classic AJ1 colourways. One of those is the “Royal.”
As you can see, the latest “Royal” AJ1 Mid boasts an OG look to it with a few updates. A smooth white leather base is paired with black leather overlays to give this shoe a simple look and feel. However, distinctive “Royal” accents on the collar, Wings logo and Swoosh ensure this Jordan 1 Mid is anything but plain. This blue detailing can also be seen on the tongue and insole, adding another subtle feature that we love. Finally, a monochromatic midsole and sole bring this AJ1 Mid together, rounding off a great colourway.
If you like the look of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid “Royal” then you’ll have to wait a little longer. According to sources, the pair will release some time in spring for around €115. Given the insane amount of hype around the silhouette right now, you can expect these to be a sell-out. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Jordan 1 Mids.
