Travis Scott is now one of the most influential people in the sneaker world. Since bursting onto the sneaker scene in 2017 with his Nike Air Force 1 collab, La Flame has been steadily cooking up banger after banger. Last year’s Air Jordan 1 High collaboration was arguably the year’s best sneaker release. With Nike realising the effect that Travis Scott is having on the industry, we could be seeing a general release version of his AJ1 High drop this year.
Although the Air Jordan 1 High “Mocha” has been rumoured for some time, there have been no images released just yet. Various sneaker sources have been indicating different images, mockups and potential styles. Fortunately, the world of sneaker leaks has provided us with a grainy glimpse of what’s to come.
The image below indicates that the “Mocha” Air Jordan 1 will use a “Black Toe” style at the front. A black leather overlay is paired with white leather on the midsection and toe. Of course, the familiar-looking brown suede on the ankle and heel is what has got a lot of people excited. Unlike the Travis Scott Jordan 1s, the Swoosh on these faces the right way. As you can imagine, Nike isn’t trying to completely rip off Travis Scott.
Whilst there is no official images just yet, the images are still exciting, to say the least. Rumoured to drop in Holiday 2020 for €170, these will be a much cheaper alternative that the Travis Scott AJ1s. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Jordan 1s.
