In recent years, Nike and Jordan Brand have been merging multiple colourways together on just one sneaker. Last year saw the Air Jordan 4 “What The” drop, whilst 2017 saw the Nike Air Max 1 “Master” drop. It looks as though there are no signs of this stopping down soon too, with the Air Jordan 5 “Top 3” set to drop later this year.
As part of the Air Jordan 5 turning 30th this year, Jordan Brand is dropping a special shoe. Three of the most iconic colourways over the past three decades celebrate the AJ5. The “Black Metallic” colourway, with a sleek black nubuck upper making the perfect base. A “Fire Red” outsole and red number 23 on the heel bring the OG feel, along with Nike Air on the back. Finishing things off is a large purple and teal tongue adding a splash of “Grape”.
