Over the past few months, Jordan Brand has really been pushing for the Air Jordan 1 Mid to make an impact. We’ve seen a number of desirable colourways launch, including the “Chicago Black Toe” and “Light Smoke Grey.” With a number of high profile colourways set to drop in the coming months, it doesn’t look like the AJ1 Mid hype is going away anytime soon. Thankfully, Nike is going for gold with this latest colourway.
Taking the usual AJ1 Mid shape, Jordan Brand is draping this version in “Metallic Gold” overlays. The luxurious overlays bear a glossy gold effect, with a white leather base making the perfect base. On show is a crisp black Wings logo makes a perfect addition against the gold. A white mesh tongue bears the Jumpman logo as standard, paired with a set of black laces. Of course, the black Swoosh is another nice feature, reminiscent of the Air Jordan 1 “Top 3.” Bringing this Air Jordan 1 to a close is a white midsole and black outsole.
As for now, there is no release date on the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid “Metallic Gold.” Some sources claim that it will release later this year but there is no set in stone release info. An estimated retail price of €125 has been set, but that is yet to be confirmed. Check out the early images below and let us know if you’ll cop these AJ1 Mids.
