When it comes to classic Jordans, few are as revered as the Air Jordan 1 High “Neutral Grey”. Released back in 1985, the pair has remained an unattainable grail for many in the sneaker world. Though almost every other pair of OG Air Jordan 1s have been retroed at some point, the “Neutral Grey” has not. For decades, sneakerheads have been patiently waiting for the pair to make a return and now, finally, that looks to be happening.
Although there is no official confirmation, rumours have been swirling for some time now that the AJ1 “Neutral Grey” would be coming back at some point. Since its initial release over 35 years ago, the simple Jordan 1 has not seen the light of day. Constructed using a simple white leather and accented with grey suede on the collar and Swoosh, the “Neutral Grey” is a perfect example of less is more. Light grey accents are also used on the Wings logo and tongue tag, with the famous “Nike Air” logo on the tongue being a hark back to the mid-1980s.
According to multiple sources, the Air Jordan 1 High “Neutral Grey” will return in early 2021 for €200. Whilst the news has not yet been confirmed by Nike, the early images are enough to give us hope that this pair will finally be returning. As for now, we’ve just got to sit tight and pray that these AJ1s will be coming back. Check out the pictures below and let us know if you’ll cop these Air Jordan 1s.
