When news of a denim laden Air Jordan 3 began to circulate, sneakerheads were interested to see how the sneaker would eventually turn out. After images of the Air Jordan 3 SE “Fire Red Denim” eventually dropped, the sneaker community knew that they wanted them. Several delays due to COVID-19 eventually pushed the release date back. However, the good news is that these AJ3s are finally dropping this weekend.
Taking a crisp white tumbled leather base, the upcoming “Fire Red Denim” 3s bring this 1988 silhouette into 2020. Premium Japanese raw denim replaces the traditional elephant print on the mudguard, eyelets and heel. Fire Red accents on the tongue and Jumpman ensure that this AJ3 stays true to the OG, but it is the heel tab that has got sneakerheads excited.
For the first time in history, a co-branded “Nike Air” and Jumpman are combined on a translucent heel. The combination of the two logos pays homage to both the old and new of Jordan, a detail that many in the sneaker community love. A clean white midsole with a black heel cage creates a nice monochromatic divide, with a white sole rounding this AJ3 off.
If you like the look of these Jordan 3s, then good news. The Air Jordan 3 SE “Fire Red Denim” will drop on August 8th for €200. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Jordan 3s.
