In the world of sneakers, Michael Jordan’s signature models tend to be the most important. After signing with Nike in 1984, Michael Jordan was treated to his own line just one year later. Fast forward 35 years and Jordan Brand’s legacy in the sneakers is unparalleled. One of those silhouettes, the Air Jordan 5, turned 30 this year, with fans having the chance to cop the OG “Fire Reds” last month. Well, Jordan Brand is giving you a chance to cop three Air Jordan 5s in one this week.
Named the “Top 3”, the upcoming Air Jordan 5 is a perfect blend of three classic colourways: “Black Metallic”, “Grape” and “Fire Red.” Making up the majority of this Air Jordan 5 is black nubuck, referencing the aforementioned Black Metallic Air Jordan 5s. A bold purple and teal tongue feature the colouring of the Grape Jordan 5s, which seems to work well with the black nubuck. The use of a bright red midsole, as well as a red “23”, references the “Fire Red” Air Jordan 5. Complete with “Nike Air” on the back, this is a 21st Century sneaker with an OG Air Jordan 5 feel.
If you’re looking to cop these, you can on June 13th for €200. The limited release has appeared at select retailers throughout Europe, so be quick to cop. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll pick these Jordan 5s up.
