Nike has made a concerted effort in 2020 to start its Move to Zero process. Over the past 10 months, we’ve seen Space Hippie become a staple part of Nike’s manufacturing process, pushing the brands to repatriate its old materials and scraps. Arguably one of the standouts from this year was the Nike Dunk Low SP “Community Garden.” Taking elements from the Space Hippie Line, it was a resounding success with the sneaker community. Thankfully, it doesn’t look as though it’s a one-off.
Dubbed the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro E (short for Eco) “Crater,” this is the most sustainable Dunk in history. Unlike the community garden, the “Crater” SB Dunk opts for a different approach. The simple colourway uses a careful combination of grey shades made from recycled materials. A mixture of recycled canvas, polyester and rubber can be seen throughout this Dunk, with a “Crater Foam” midsole and sole bringing the shoe together.
If you like the look of the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low Pro E “Crater,” then there’s good news. The upcoming SB Dunk is set to release next week though a price has not yet been set. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Dunks.
