When it comes to sneaker collaborations, atmos is without a doubt one of the greatest. The Japanese retailer, founded in 2000, has worked with everyone from Nike to adidas and every brand in between. Over the past two decades, its collabs with the Swoosh have seen it release some of the greatest Air Max colourways of all time. With that in mind, atmos have released images of a Japanese exclusive Air Max 95 for Air Max Day 2020.
Taking inspiration from Mount Fuji, the atmos Air Max 95 is a slick addition to the atmos x Nike line. A loud university red makes up the upper, with a perfectly white midsole balancing the sneaker out. Clever details such as a mountain graphic on the sole and insole, whilst teal accents on the Swoosh and insole create a nice sneaker.
This shoe is slightly different from normal Air Max 95s, however, and has been made using Nike’s Winter Utility technology. Considering these are a reference to Mount Fuji, the use of winter tech is a clever addition. Topping things off is a dustbag which features the mountain graphic as well as a red Swoosh throughout.
If you’re looking to get your hands on these, good luck. The sneakers are set to drop at select Japanese retailers and Nike stores. You can expect these to hit the secondary market soon.
