When images of a Civilist Berlin x Nike SB Dunk Low surfaced, sneakerheads paid attention. Whilst the two had collaborated before, the High Nike SB Dunk was nowhere near as hyped as its Low top sequel. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been getting a closer look at the sneaker. From early leaks to full-blown videos, Civilist Berlin and Nike SB are pushing for shoe of the year. Now, we have an official look at the upcoming SB Dunk.
Relatively understated at first, the Civilist Berlin x Nike SB Dunk Low appears to have a completely black upper. A black Swoosh, black sockliner, black tongue and black laces are already a winner for us. However, it is when the shoe gets warmer that the magic really happens. Hidden underneath this black sneaker is heat reactive paint which appears to show all the colours of a heat map. The pattern features yellow, green, orange, blue and red, completely transforming this Nike SB Dunk Low into something brand new.
