It’s safe to say that the Medicom Toy’s Nike SB Dunk Low collaborations are always hyped. Since first teaming up in 2004, Medicom Toy and Nike have continued to push out exciting sneakers for over 15 years. Though only five Medicom Nike SBs have ever released, the partnership is one of the most coveted in footwear. With early images of the 2020 Medicom Toy x Nike SB Dunk Low floating around for a while now, we thankfully have our first official look at the upcoming sneakers.
Using a black faux fur construction, the latest Medicom Toy Nike SB Dunk is completely different from its predecessors. Used across the entire upper, this faux fur adds a nice texture to this Nike SB Dunk, something that we love. The subtle cream faux fur heel tab breaks up this slick silhouette, creating a perfect balance between the two neutral tones. A white midsole, complete with a grey outsole, brings the shoe to a close.
However, it is subtle details that have caught the attention of the sneaker community. Replacing the traditional “Nike SB” on the tongue is the BE@RBRICK logo, with this same logo placed on the heel. Graphics of BE@RBRICKs adorn the entire midsole, complete with co-branding at the very base. As you can imagine, these are gonna be an instant sell-out.
If you like the look of these Medicom Toy x Nike SB Dunk Low “BE@RBRICK” sneakers, then good luck. The shoes are set to drop on August 22nd alongside a collaborative BE@RBRICK too. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll try and cop.
