Over the past few months, we’ve seen more and more of an upcoming “Chicago” Nike SB Dunk Low. First debuted by size?, the Air Jordan 1 inspired sneaker has been causing a lot of noise in the community. It’s been an exciting time, to say the least. Merging an iconic colourway with one of the most popular silhouettes right now is a match made in heaven. Whilst we’ve got no confirmed release date just yet, we do have some detailed on-foot shots.
Debuted by Instagram user frcydo, the on-foot images have given us a much closer look at the SB Dunk. Made famous by Michael Jordan in 1985, the “Chicago” colourway has remained a fan favourite for nearly 40 years. White and red leather overlays can be seen across the shoe, with a black Swoosh, heel and matching laces bringing it all together. Replacing the “Nike Air” found on the AJ1 tongue tag, this shoe uses “Nike SB,” a subtle feature we’re all for. Bringing this shoe to a close is the white midsole with a red outsole, finishing this Jordan themed Nike SB Dunk off nicely.
If you like the look of these Nike SB Dunks, then you’ll have to wait. For now, there is no concrete release information on the shoe. Sources suggest that the sneakers will drop in September for around €110 but that is to be confirmed. For now, just enjoy these on-foot shots and stay tuned for a drop date.
