The resurgence of the Nike SB Dunk has been pretty amazing to see. Celebrities like Travis Scott have been championing the shoe return for a while now. Collaborations with the likes of Strange Love, as well as reissuing colourways like “Plum” has also helped. Of course, Nike knows that the SB Dunk returning is a wonderful thing. So much so that it is extending the remit of its collaborators. Enter American convenience store, 7-ELEVEn.
Whilst details are still scarce, a leaked image from sneaker source @user.thehypercollector has given us a first look at the sneaker. Utilising 7-ELEVEns iconic colour scheme, this SB Dunk has been draped in orange, green and red leather. The colour-blocking here is extremely well balanced, with an orange heel, green mid-panel and red toe all working together nicely.
A set of simple white rope laces and a white Swoosh help to break up all the colour, as does the white midsole and gum outsole. However, it’s the details on this sneaker that really get to shine. On the heel panel, a “7-ELEVEn” emblem has been stitched onto the heel. The Nike logo on the back, from the first glimpse, also looks as though it has been finished in the 7-ELEVEn colour scheme.
Whilst there are no official details nor confirmation from Nike you can expect these to be announced in the coming months. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll be copping these.
