Whenever a Nike Air Max retro gets announced, the sneaker community tends to get excited. Earlier this year, we reported that the “Bacon” AM90s could be making a return. We thought that this would be the only return of a classic Air Max colourway we saw this year. Well, it looks as though one of the greatest Air Max 1 colourways of all time could be launching: the Powerwall “Lemonade”.
Now, although details are slim, early reports suggest that the Nike Air Max 1 Powerwall “Lemonade” could be returning later this year. According to multiple Instagram sources, the “Lemonade” AM1 will make its return for the first. As part of the iconic Powerwall series, the “Lemonade” Air Max 1 is one of the rarest Air Max 1s of all time. Only 144 pairs of the sneaker were ever made. Featuring yellow leather and a distinct pattern throughout, its a grail for many.
Now, to say that we are excited about this news is an understatement. This will be the first chance that many have to own a pair of Air Max history. Whilst there is no official news from Nike that these will release, we’re optimistic they do. In the meantime, check out the OG pair below and let us know if you plan on copping.
