With the Nike Dunk currently experiencing a resurgence in popularity, the Swoosh is not missing its chance to go big. School colourways like the Syracuse and Kentucky have helped bring back the sneaker. The 1985 silhouette was reimagined by Virgil Abloh last year and has since seen regular drops. With that in mind, Nike is tapping up a number of new designers to create their own Dunks. Now, it looks like Korean label Kasina is getting its chance to drop two Dunks.
Though details are slim, early reports suggest that Nike and Kasina will be releasing two Dunks later this year. The release will see Kasina two sneakers in either a “Sail/University Gold-Industrial Blue” or “Sail/White-Neptune Green-Industrial Blue.” According to House of Heat, the sneaker will feature co-branding throughout. Whilst there are no official images as of yet, the mockups below give us a look at what could be on the cards.
Kasinas Nike Dunks are expected to release later this year with a retail of €120. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll be copping these.
