It is hard to imagine what the world of sneakers would look like if the Nike Air Max 1 had not been invented. Tinker Hatfield’s pioneering design helped to make him one of the most respected people in footwear. You can probably understand why! With the second half of 2020 underway, Nike is looking to drop a number of great Air Max 1s over the coming months. Having revealed the “Hunter Green” Air Max 1s yesterday, we now have a detailed look at the second pair in the vintage-inspired pack.
Named the “Magma Orange,” this Air Max 1 is a subtle take on Hatfield’s creation. Opting for an OG feel with a modern twist, the upper sports the traditional mesh and suede throughout. Light grey suede overlays are contrasted by white mesh, giving this shoe a real classic vibe. It is the “Magma Orange” accents that bring this Air Max 1 to life, however. Featured on the Swoosh, mudguard and heel, the orange details add a splash of colour in all the right places. A simple white midsole and black sole finish this AM1 off, bringing this well thought out sneaker to a close.
If you’re looking to cop these Air Max 1s, you don’t have too long to wait. The sneakers are expected to hit retailers in the coming weeks for €140. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll be picking these AM1s up.
