Kith is without a doubt one of the most important labels in streetwear. Since being founded by Ronnie Fieg in 2011, the New York-born fashion brand has grown dramatically. Collaborations with the likes of Versace have helped to cement Kith as arguably the most creative brand on the planet. After news surfaced of another Kith x Nike Air Force 1 surfaced last month, we now have detailed images of the upcoming collaboration.
Inspired by Fieg’s home city of New York, the upcoming AF1 features a predominantly black leather upper and a clean white midsole. However, there is subtle nods to the Big Apple which bring the shoe to life. Alternate Swooshes come in red and blue, with a translucent gradient effect adding more texture. The heel is embroidered with an NYC motif, paying homage to the city Fieg grew up in. On the tongue, a “Kith Air Force 1” replaces the traditional Nike label, complete in a red and blue gradient. The heel is embroidered with “Kith Air,” with a custom lace dubrae featuring the same logo too.
As for now, there is no confirmed release date on the upcoming Kith x Nike Air Force 1 “NYC.” Rumours and early reports suggest that the shoe will release in Fall 20, though that is to be confirmed. Check out the detailed images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Kith AF1s.
