Stüssy and Nike have cooked up some of the most hyped sneaker releases in history. Since 2000, the two have launched everything from Huaraches to Air Max 95s. Over 20 years later, the two recently revived the Air Spiridon Cage 2 and, it looks as though that’s not the only Air Spiridon we will be seeing. Leaked images of a new Stüssy x Nike Air Spiridon have surfaced online.
Dubbed the Stüssy x Nike Air Spiridon KK, the sneaker once again revives the retro silhouette in spectacular fashion. A rubber web application adorns the technical mesh upper underneath. The inspiration is said to have come from a Nike Free Run model, with the added cage acting as a support for runners. Stüssy logos can be spotted on the tongue as well as the heel tab, with a simple Swoosh embroidered on the side of the shoe. Complete with a Zoom Cushioning Unit, this sneaker is as comfortable as it is stylish.
Rumoured to drop in “White/Black/Habanero Red” and a much bolder “Black/White/Bright Cactus”, this is your second chance to cop a Stüssy x Nike Spiridon. Check out the first images below and let us know if you plan on picking these up.
