There is no denying how innovative Nike’s Space Hippie collection truly is. Over the past few weeks, sneakerheads have gotten used to seeing the technology behind Space Hippie on a number of classic silhouettes. From Air Jordan 1s to Converse Chuck Taylor’s, there really is no limits to how far Nike is pushing these materials. Thankfully, there is some more exciting sneaker recycled Nike sneakers on the way soon. One of those just happens to be an Air Max 90.
Using Crater Tech and Nike Grind, the upcoming Nike Air Max 90 features two of the most innovative materials in Nike’s history. The upper is constructed with recycled materials and goes for a much more subtle approach. Splashes of Light Blue and Volt adorn the heel tab to add a little bit of colour, though the multicoloured tongue helps too. A combination of contrasting greys works to create a well-balanced Air Max sneaker. The light grey midsole features a Nike Grind outsole, bringing this sustainable sneaker to a close.
