Since first joining forces in 2017, Skepta and Nike have cooked up some slick sneakers. What has made Sk Air such a success is the genuine approach taken to each shoe, with each new model telling a story of Skepta’s youth. In just four short years, we’ve seen everything from Nike Air Max 97s to Nike Shox TL all given the Skepta treatment. Now, Skepta is back once again, this time taking on the classic Nike Air Max Tailwind V.
Arguably the most colourful Skepta x Nike sneaker we’ve seen yet, the Nike Air Max Tailwind V Sk Air is certainly bold. Featuring a bright blue tie-dye pattern on the upper, the shoe is covered in the classic TPU overlays in neutral black. Other noticeable details include an iridescent tongue, complete with “Sk Air” branding, and chrome accents on the Swoosh and midsole. Custom insoles also include the British rappers Nike logo, a subtle element we love. Sitting atop a blacked outsole, these have the potential to be one of the shoes of the summer.
Right now, we don’t have much further information on the Skepta x Nike Air Max Tailwind V “Sk Air”. What we do know is that these will be dropping in Spring/Summer 21 for around €180. Check out the first images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Sk Airs.
