Stüssy and Nike reignited its successful relationship earlier this year. Having launched a number of Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 and Air Zoom Kukinis, the two are truly back with a bang. Applying Californian style to Oregon silhouettes has been a success, kickstarting the hype about Stüssy x Nike all over again. Earlier this year, we reported that Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1s were on the way. Now, we have our first look at one of the pairs set to release.
In true Stüssy fashion, they’ve made the already classic sneaker somehow better. Constructed in what appears to be hemp, the Stüssy AF1s already look slick. The embroidered Swoosh on the midsection is a key feature, with other embroidered details also on display. A subtle combination of light beige has been used throughout the entire shoe, with slightly lighter laces breaking the colour apart. Leather sock liners are also on display, with embroidered lace eyelets adding a nice touch too. Key details include a custom co-branded tongue tag and the interlocking S’s on the toe, bringing this well-balanced AF1 to a close.
As for now, there’s no more news on the Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1. With only a few images on the Internet, we’ll just have to wait for a release date. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Stüssy x Nike sneakers.
