Nike has been hard at work in 2020. Although a global pandemic may have brought the entire world to a halt, it hasn’t stopped Nike from scheduling a tonne of great sneakers. One of the more adventurous silhouettes has been the D/MS/X Waffle, a vintage-style runner brought into the future. Since being leaked back in June, sneakerheads have been patiently waiting to see more colourways. Well, we now have official images of an upcoming “Starfish” version.
The experimental sneaker has already caught the attention of many for its bold design. A combination of suede panelling and streamlined nylon work together to merge this 21st century 70s runner. Bold colours such as orange, green and blue work against a neutral white to blend together seamlessly. On the heel, “D/MS/X” can be seen, showing just who’s behind this crazy runner. In line with Nike’s vanguard design, the sneaker uses a split white sole unit which comes complete in a classic gum colourway.
If you like the look of these bold Nike D/MS/X Waffle “Starfish” runners, there’s a little longer to wait. The sneakers are set to drop in Fall this year for around €100.
