Over the past six months, Nike SB has been dominating the sneaker market. Thanks in part to celebrities like Travis Scott, Nike SB Dunks are undergoing a huge surge in popularity. We’ve seen some crazy collaborations from the likes of Strangelove Skateboards and even Ben & Jerry’s. Nike SB has also brought a number of crossover colourways, covering everything from Air Max 90s to Air Jordan 1s. Now, it looks as though the ACG line has inspired the SB Dunk once more.
Originally launched in 1989, Nike ACG (short for All Conditions Gear) has become a key figure in the Swoosh’s roster. Designed for outdoor athletes, Nike ACG has created some very memorable silhouettes. However, it is the ACG colourway, originally found on the Nike Air Terra, that has inspired this SB Dunk.
Taking the well-balanced combination of purple and black overlays, Nike SB has draped this dunk in premium suede throughout. The instantly recognisable red Swoosh can be seen on both sides, paired together with a matching tongue tag of the same colour. A set of contrasting yellow laces has been used, with the same colour found on the heel and insole. Of course, the classic speckled midsole can also be seen on this sneaker and is contrasted by a black outsole.
A few raffles are still open for this release so if you’re quick, you may be in with a chance of copping! Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Nike SB Dunks.
