When the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High first appeared earlier this year, sneakerheads everywhere took note. However, since January, there’s been almost no update from the collaboration. Whilst Yoon Ahn, co-founder of AMBUSH with her husband Verbal, told us last month that we would see the sneaker release in December, we’ve had no further info. The good news is that we do now have a much closer look at the upcoming AMBUSH Dunks.
The monochromatic take on the classic basketball silhouette certainly stands out. Black and white tumble leather come together to create a sleek yet elegant look on this collaboration. Extended features help it to stand out, with the heel, ankle, collar and Swoosh being larger than normal. Branding is, as expected, bold from Yoon’s collaboration. A large “AMBUSH” can be spotted on the heel and is contrasted with a slightly smaller version on the tongue too.
As for now, we’re still waiting to get confirmation of the upcoming release. We do, however, know that the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High is going to drop in December at some point. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop.
