There have been few Nike SB Dunk collaborations as hotly anticipated as Ben & Jerry’s. The unlikely partnership between two of the world’s largest brands has been filling the sneaker community with great excitement. Early release pairs have been floating around for a while now, leaving many questioning when the shoe would release. Well, now, we finally have a confirmed release date courtesy of Nike.
Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic could cause some issues, the Ben & Jerry’s Nike SB Dunk will release on May 23rd. Taking inspiration from the “Chunky Dunk” Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, the sneaker is an ode to the brands packaging. A melting Swoosh, mismatch colours, faux cowhide on the panels as well as the famous blue and white clouds certainly make this sneaker eye-catching. Co-branding on the tongue and insole gives this sneaker an added edge, though that’s hardly needed.
