Ever since news of a fragment design x sacai x Nike LDWaffle “Blue Void” surfaced last year, sneakerheads around the world have been waiting to cop. Although it’s been fairly quiet in terms of a release, images here and there have managed to sustain the hype. With new colourways like the “Wolf Grey” emerging, it’s safe to say that fragment sacai LDWaffles are going to be a problem. Now, we can finally get up close and personal with the “Blue Void”.
It’s easy to see where this fragment x sacai x Nike LDWaffle gets its colourway name. A dark navy hue covers this sneaker throughout and hits the mesh and suede on the upper. Contrasting white leather on the Swoosh and heel tabs creates a nice balance to the navy; a signature fragment colour combo. Fragment branding on the tongue tag is also a nice touch, but that’s not all. On the midsoles, “The Classic / Fragment:sacai” can be seen on the lateral side and “LDWAFFLE:FA21-MNSRUN-233 SACAI/FRAGMENT” is used on the medial side.
