When the Nike Air Huarache “Scream Green” first dropped in 1991, it was a huge moment in the sneaker community. Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design became one of the hottest sneakers around, applying comfort with a futuristic aesthetic. Over the past three decades years, the Huarache has remained one of Nike’s most crazy sneakers. With the shoe celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Nike is dropping a number of classic Air Huaraches, including the two Stüssy versions. Thankfully, another of them is the “Scream Green”.
The iconic colourway needs no introduction but we’ll give you a brief rundown. Stripped back to the basic elements of a shoe, this Nike Air Huarache features a white leather upper and a neoprene sockliner. A combination of bright green and royal blue gives this shoe its signature look, with a black and green heel cage. The original “Nike Air” badge has been reintroduced on the tongue, a fitting tribute to the OG. Sitting atop a sporty white midsole and black sole, these Huaraches are a must cop for us at KLEKT.
If you like the look of the Nike Air Huarache “Scream Green” then there’s good news. The sneaker is set to drop on February 19th for €130 in multiple sizes. With this being one of the OG colourways, you can expect these to sell out fast. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Nike Huaraches.
