Since being launched in 1998, the Nike Air Max Plus has been a staple model for sneakerheads. Sean McDowell’s iconic design has been dropped in various colourways and even gained its own hardcore following. Whilst the newer colourways of the Nike Tn are good, the OGs are often hard to beat. Thankfully, Nike is looking back towards the archive for inspiration. Now, it looks as though Nike is going back to the golden age of the Tn with this latest colourway.
With no official name just yet, this Nike Air Max Plus is ideal for the fast-approaching warmer months. A sky blue gradient adorns most of the mesh upper, with white leather panelling at the bottom creating a nice balance. The deep blue accents on the laces, tongue and sockliner give this shoe a look similar to the 1999 “Petrole” colourway. A crisp white midsole, complete with light blue air units, and a black sole brings things to a close. Of course, the distinctive “Tn” on the heel comes as standard, rounding off this slick Air Max Plus.
If you like the look of this Nike Air Max Plus, then there’s good news. According to sources, the shoe will release in the coming weeks for just €170. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Tns.
