Over the past nine months, Nike has brought back the Dunk in a big way. We’ve seen everything from big collaborations to retro colourways, with sneakerheads making the Dunk a key part in their rotation. After being brought back by Virgil Abloh for the Off-White™ x Nike Dunk collaboration last year, the “Michigan” Nike Dunk became a fan favourite. Now, it looks as though Nike will be bringing back the OG version later this month.
Originally released in 1985, the Nike Dunk High “Michigan” was part of the “Be True To Your School” campaign. Featuring a combination of Varsity Maize and Midnight navy, this Dunk is a perfect representation of the University of Michigan. The collegiate colours adorn the upper, working across all the panels and Swoosh to create an eye-catching pair of shoes. Cutting through the colour is a simple white midsole with a navy outsole, rounding off this Nike Dunk perfectly.
If you like the look of the Nike Dunk High “Michigan,” then there’s good news. The shoe will be making a return on September 26th for €120. Check out the official images of the Nike Dunk High “Michigan” below and let us know if you’ll cop these Dunks.
