For the past few months, we’ve been slowly documenting the return of the Nike Dunk Low SP “Veneer.” Originally released as part of the CO.JP “Ugly Duckling” pack back in 2001, the pair has remained a grail for many Dunk collectors around the world. With the “Plum” dropping earlier this year, many suspected that the “Veneer” would make a comeback. After several leaked images and on-foot pics, we now have official imagery of the upcoming Nike Dunk Low “Veneer.”
Arguably the most divisive of the three “Ugly Duckling” Nike Dunks, the “Veneer” is certainly eye-catching. A combination of green, brown and purple adorn the upper, with premium suede being used throughout. The yellow sock liner helps to add another dimension to this shoe, as does the brown mesh around the collar. A clean white midsole features a contrasting purple outsole, finishing off this colour contrasting Dunk very nicely.
If you like the look of the upcoming Nike Dunk Low SP “Veneer” then there’s good news. The pair is set to release on November 10th for just €100. With Nike continuing to push the Dunk this year, we’re glad this pair is making a return. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’ll be copping these Nike Dunks.
