Late last week, we were given our first glimpse of the Nike SB Dunk Low “VX1000 Camcorder”. The sneaker is inspired by the legendary Sony Camcorder made famous by skaters, the DCR-VX1000. As you can probably imagine, the news was well-received by sneakerheads and skaters alike. Although we were expecting the shoe to come out later this year, it looks to be dropping sooner than we think. We know that this SB Dunk Low is dropping this week and has got some official imagery to coincide with its release.
In essence, this Nike SB Dunk Low replicates the colours found throughout the legendary camcorder. A grey and black suede upper features words like “PEAK”, “REC LEVEL”, “WHT BAL” and “SHUTTER SPEED”, “CONTROL” and “PLAYER” across the overlays. Premium materials have been used on this SB Dunk Low, giving it a luxurious look and feel. The red and yellow eyelets, reminiscent of the record buttons found on the camera, is a clever detail that we’re all for. A set of aqua blue heel tabs brings the shoe to a close, rounding off perfectly with a white midsole and subtle grey sole.
If you like the look of the Nike SB Dunk Low “VX1000 Camcorder” then there’s good news. The shoe will be arriving at select stockists on February 20th for just €100. These are looking very popular so don’t be surprised if these sell out instantly. Check out the images below and let us know if you’re feeling these SB Dunk Lows.
