Late last month, we saw a leaked image of an upcoming READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid. The grainy shot gave us a glimpse of the unexpected collaboration between the two brands. Over the past week or so, sneakerheads have been patiently waiting to see more. In a world where social media benefits sneaker leaks, we haven’t had to wait long. Thankfully, we now have a closer look at the READYMADE Blazer as well as tentative release information.
READYMADE hasn’t wasted its opportunity to work on the Blazer. Yuta Hosokawa’s label has taken an upcycled approach to this sneaker. A combination of black suede and mesh works together throughout most of the upper, with camouflage accents adorning the collar and tongue. The real stand out features on this collab though, the most obvious of which are the warped Swoosh and midsole. Laces are constructed using recycled fabrics and a customised tongue tag bears “Nike RE” for good measure. The heel features a READYMADE logo stamped on the back, bringing this strange Nike Blazer to a close.
The good news is that you don’t have long to wait for the READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid. As for now, the collab is set to release at some point in Fall/Winter 2020 for around €160. Keep your eyes peeled for stockists and more info on this drop. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Nike Blazers.
