Over the past 12 months, sacai and Nike have created some of the most sought after sneakers in the game. The curious creation and inspiration of combining two shoes into one made the sacai x Nike LDWaffle stand out in 2019. Having been debuted at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, the upcoming sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle has remained on the radar for many sneakerheads. Now, a new colourway has emerged.
The latest collaboration combines elements from the Nike Pegasus and Nike Vaporfly. The result is a sneaker unlike any other. Using a simple “Black/White” colourway, the shoe is a monochromatic take on the popular formula. Previously seen in a Nike Cortez “Forrest Gump” colourway, this latest sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle is much simpler.
A set of double-stacked soles are much thicker than previous sacai x Nike silhouettes. Of course, the familiar double-detailing on the Swooshes, laces and tongues can also be seen. Dropping in “Black/White/Pure Platinum” the latest colourway is much easier to wear than others. With this being a sacai x Nike sneaker, you can expect it to be an instant sell-out.
